Clyde Marshall: Clyde is a Kentuckian who plays guitar, mandolin and sings lead and harmony vocals in Midnight Call. He has a very distinct and rich voice that is a nice compliment to Don’s tenor. He is the senior member of the band. He names as his influences Tony Rice, Larry Sparks and his father.
Matt Hooper: From North Carolina and one of the finest young fiddlers on the circuit today. He plays with youthful energy and has sensibilities that belie his age. He claims as major influences Stuart Duncan, Aubrey Haynie, Vassar Clements and Randy Howard. Matt played for Kickin’ Grass for 8 years prior to joining Midnight Call.
Lloyd Herring: Plays banjo and sings harmony for Midnight Call. He is also a licensed pilot! He learned to play banjo first but spent lots of time playing bass for the Grass Cats in his home state of North Carolina. He is a very talented young man with a great personality.
Jayd Raines: Jayd is bass player and tenor singer extraordinaire! He plays claw hammer banjo and is an accomplished Scruggs style player as well. He is a Kentucky boy who spent 3 years playing and singing for Marty Raybon. There is no doubt that you will enjoy Jayd’s contribution to the show and meeting him as he is very witty and a genuine nice fellow.
